{{It Has Been Awhile}}

We snapped this picture before church on Mothers Day.
I love being a mom.
Some days are long and hard but these cute faces make it worth it.

Week 8~Family Time

This weekend we spent a lot of time enjoying these two gals.
Reese loves Cocoa.
She loves to comb her.
Ride her.
Lead her.
And probably most of all give her apple treats.
She also always remember to pray for her.

Nursemaids Elbow

You wouldn't know it from this picture but Harper had been screaming
for over an hour. I was working in the office with Harper next to
me in her exersaucer (the doctor was puzzled by that word) playing with Reese.
I looked over to see Reese turn the seat and Harper's left arm get stuck behind one of the toys.
Immediately she started to scream. The scream that you know something is really wrong but I
had no idea what. Called Derik over and over again...no answer. I knew that he was in a meeting so I called another  of his co-workers to get him out. He quickly came home and took us to the hospital. Turned out to be nursemaids elbow.
It was crazy how fast she was okay once it was put back in...it was like nothing even happened.

Californ-i-a Part 2!

DISNEYLAND

We didn't tell Reese where we were taking her until we were at the park entrance. She was pretty funny about it. It took a minute for it to soak in. It was so much fun. We spent two days and wished we could of gone for another. We walked until our legs ached. We were so thankful that my parents came and helped us with the girls so we could enjoy some of the rides together and it was so nice to have some extra hands. Reese loved being able to go on rides with them too. We hope we get to go back sooner than later...especially Reese. Her favorite rides were the tea cups and Dumbo.

Californ-i-a Part 1

We planed this trip back in October. I was not looking
forward to a long winter especially since I was going
to be cooped up with a little babe. So, I decided I needed something
to look forward to and we planed a trip.
Although the winter was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be I am so glad
we got a break and were able to enjoy some much needed sun!

Enjoying the ocean at Crystal Cove-Newport Beach

I would love to stay at Crystal Cove in one of the cottages on the Ocean.
Maybe someday. They book up fast.

My parents ended up joining us. We were so glad that they decided to come.
It was nice to have extra hands and Reese loves it when
Grandma Mitchell is around. My mom can get her
to do anything.

Reese had so much fun chasing the seagulls with Derik.

We decided to stay somewhere memorable.
So, The Queen Mary it was! Such fun to stay on the ship.
We really enjoyed exploring and learning about the ship.
It has so much history! If you get a chance you should
go check it out even if you don't end up staying on board.
I can't believe that I didn't even take a picture of the ship.
You can check it out here.

This was the flusher for the toilet!  Loved it.

Stay tuned for part two.....
