Temple Square

Reese has been really fascinated with Temples and christmas lights so we decided to take her to see the lights at temple square. What better combination right? Well, we found Friday night we had open and stayed at Little America. Due to time constraints we ate dinner at the Coffee Shop at Little America. We were about done with dinner when I realized we didn't grab a diaper to have on had while at Temple Square. So, Derik quickly ran back up to the room to get one. He was walking though the lobby when he saw this man...

He walked right over and shook his hand. President Monson was on his way to have dinner with his lovely wife at the Coffee Shop as well. When I heard the news I was a bit jealous but then quickly realized that I would not gone over and shook his hand...I would have just stared. So, it is good that Derik went to get the diaper. When Derik got back to the table he tried to get me to do a walk by. He was like just walk around the restaurant until you find him.  I was not going to do that...I hate drawing any attention to myself. So, I just got a good glance at him from outside as we were walking to the train stop to ride Trax.

Reese loved the train. Loved the lights. Loved Temple Square. While there I ran into an old friend Chantille from home. We have known each other since 1st grade.  It has been over a year a half since we have seen each other so it was good to catch up.
